Some say The Lost Brothers sound like a ragged Everly Brothers. Others say they sound like The Lost Brothers.
The Lost Brothers released their debut album (Trails Of The Lonely) to a heap of praise from the likes of NME,The Irish Times, Word magazine, Hot Press, and their fans (losties).
Through the following year, The Lost Brothers have been spotted in person, performing at Glastonbury, Electric Picnic, Texas (SXSW), New York, Portland, Toronto, Paris, and a hop, skip and jump across the land of the UK and their beloved Ireland. In their journeys they have toured and played along with many, including Richard Hawley, M Ward, Jolie Holland, The Handsome Family, The Swell Season, Sam Amidan, Micah P Hinson, Richmond Fontaine, Brendan Benson, Jimmy Webb, Justine Townes Earle, Mountain Man,Squeeze among others. They have also performed on RTE’s Other Voices, France 24 and on the BBC Culture Show.
In 2011 the band travelled to Nashville where they worked on new songs with Brendan Benson as producer where members Old Crow Medicine Show and The Cardinals lent a hand.
While in Nashville the brothers also caught the ear of the Barbara Orbison’s office where they recorded a song for the 75th Roy Orbison anniversary album.In June 2011 The Lost Brothers shared the bill with Bob Dylan and Van Morrison at the London Feis. This year the Lost Brothers opened the Electric Picnic on the main stage. The band have travelled to the US in October last year where they performed at Other Voices New York alongside Martha Wainright, Roddy Doyle and many others.
