Farrah Swings and Roundabouts

"Here comes the sun, did you think it was over? The clouds are gone, beautiful blue skies. The day will come, believe me, life is always swings and roundabouts," sings Jez Ashurst in the first single from Farrah's new self titled album. "Swings & Roundabouts" is exuberant, spirited and full of hooks, which perhaps makes it the perfect summer anthem.

Full of west-coast harmonies and a catchy chorus you won’t stop humming, the song is a breezy rush of piano-based optimism that sounds like Ben Folds meets Fountains Of Wayne at a Pimms-infused picnic with ELO.

The band asked friends and fans from around the world to help make a video by singing along to the track in front of any video camera they could lay their hands on - and thus "Farrah-aoke" was born.
