Someone's Gonna Break Your Heart is the second 7-inch vinyl single from Fountains Of Wayne’s long-awaited new album, Sky Full Of Holes. The vinyl single includes the non-album B-side Song Of The Passaic, an ode to the “toilet river” that meanders through northern New Jersey.
Written and produced by Chris Collingwood and Adam Schlesinger, Someone's Gonna Break Your Heart showcases the band’s trademark melodic flair and lyrical wit that is demonstrated throughout Sky Full Of Holes.
Song Of The Passaic is based upon the writing, of the same name, by John Alleyne Macnab (circa 1890) and adapted to the bands ends as an accompaniment to an NPR radio documentary about the river.
